Messianic Figures in the Qumran Aramaic Texts

There is quite a bit of possibly Messianic passages among the Aramaic texts from Qumran especially if we take into consideration the small amount of non-Sectarian Messianic texts from Second Temple Judaism.

Article published: "Messianic Figures in the Qumran Aramaic Texts" in: K. Berthelot & D. Stökl Ben Ezra (eds.), Aramaica Qumranica: Proceedings of the Conference on the Aramaic Texts from Qumran at Aix en Provence 30 June - 2July 2008 (STDJ 94; Leiden: Brill, 2010), pp. 514-544. My first Hebrew article has just been published in the Scholion institute volume on Canon:

הקנון הסמוי מן העין: חקרי קנון וגניזה edited by M. Ben-Sasson, R. Brody, A. Lieblich and D. Shalev at Magnes Press in Jerusalem. A nice volume, mostly with papers on the Cairo Genizot, but some on other related topics, such as mine on Canon in Qumran and the early Christian papyri.
